Classes are run by a qualified baby massage instructor and offer quality one on one time for you and your baby to connect, as well as the opportunity to meet other parents and forge new friendships.

Stage 1 (for 5 – 14 months)

A class which teaches all the core signs to enable that two way ‘conversation’ between baby and you.

Stage 2 (for 13 – 24 months)

Fridays (12.15 pm – 1.15 pm)

Our more active STAGE 2 class from 13-14 months reinforces Stage 1 basics whilst introducing advanced signs and concepts to attempt to keep up with toddlers growing curiosity.

Peek a Boo Moves is unique as I plan accordingly to the groups likes, abilities, needs and energy  adapting the session in session, balancing between dance, movement, play, music, song, art and sensory exploration. I develop activities from the children’s input supporting the bond between child and parent/career, confidence, coordination, world learning, imagination, language and more. I apply my extensive knowledge of dance and the arts, child development, group dynamics to provide fun and engaging sessions.

Melana Dance

Melana Dance offers Ballet, Tap, Modern Stage, Pre-School Music & Movement & Adult Dance Classes. Graded work and Exams are taken under the National Association of Teachers of Dance. We also give students the opportunity to perform in our Shows at local venues such as The Portsmouth Guildhall and The Kings Theatre in Southsea.

A great introduction to drama, these fun and accessibly priced classes, for ages four and above, are designed to Light UP your child’s imagination and confidence while teaching them performance skills and developing their curiosity.

Light UP Academy (8-16 years) Mon 4.30 – 7.30pm

The Light UP Academy provides performance training for budding young professionals who are committed to developing their stage skills.

The weekly sessions offer a taste of drama school training and what it’s like to work in the industry, through the development of voice, body and acting skills, leading to public performances.
