*The public car park that is access to Emsworth community centre will be closed from 18.00 on Tuesday19th May until 8.00 on Saturday 23rd May.
However I have spoken to the parking officer at HBC, she has assured me that it will be 4 days max maybe less, but they must cover their backs.
She said that if you speak to the contractor at the gate explaining that you need to drop off at the community centre, they may be able to allow you access.
If there is a problem getting in or dropping off, please use the library entrance from Church path.
If in the meantime you have any equipment that you need to leave at the centre, or wish to drop off, I will be onsite Monday – Friday 9.00 – 13.30 and am happy to help via the library entrance.
Brian is also available evenings if required.
The alleyway along the centre from Church path is also accessible.

We are very pleased to share that the defibrillator at the centre was used last week to save someone’s life.
Defibrillator Update – Emsworth Community Centre
We’re very pleased to share that our defibrillator was used last week to save someone’s life.
As many of you know, the pads in these units can only be used once. Unfortunately, the manufacturer has stopped producing our model, which means there is a delay in getting replacement pads. We’ll update you as soon as the defib is fully operational again.
We’re one of the few places in the area that makes our unit available for community use. If you ever face an emergency, you can check the nearest available defibrillator here:
If we’re unable to source replacement pads, we’ll be organising a fundraising event to help purchase a new unit. If you or someone you know would be interested in sponsoring the replacement, please get in touch with us.
