The Fall Guy
Mon 23 Sept (PG - 13)
is a 2024 American action comedy film directed by David Leitch and written by Drew Pearce, loosely based on the 1980s TV series. The plot follows a stuntman (Ryan Gosling) working on his ex-girlfriend's (Emily Blunt) directorial debut action film, only to find himself involved in a conspiracy surrounding the film's lead actor (Aaron Taylor-Johnson). The cast also features Hannah Waddingham, Teresa Palmer, Stephanie Hsu, and Winston Duke.
Wilding, Mon 14 Oct (PG) 75 mins
Based on Isabella Tree’s 2018 memoir of how she and her husband Sir Charles ‘Charlie’ Burrell completely overhauled the 1400-acre Knepp estate he had inherited just over the border from here in West Sussex. They took over the land despite warnings that they would never succeed as the soil was impoverished by over-intensive cultivation. The couple decided to experiment with returning it to the wild. Ponies were introduced from Dartmoor, deer were allowed to wander and herds of pigs to roam freely with turtle doves, storks and beavers. Their cows and sheep live outdoors all year round with little husbandry - a wild landscape. A marvellous, inspiring story of hope
